LOVE-IN-DEED FOOD CLOSET

The Love-In-Deed Food Closet was created to provide food assistance to residents of low to moderate income that are most vulnerable in times of lack or emergency.  The food closet operates every 3rd Saturday of the month distributing food, clothing, shoes, and wardrobe accessories for those who are without these bare essentials.

R.I.S.E. INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM

The R.I.S.E. Independent Living Program to educate and equip youth and young adults with important life skills to help their successful transition into adulthood.  Though R.I.S.E. was created to service and support youth aging out of the foster care system, it also expands to young adults who have educational or behavioral challenges.  The program selects 20 students between the ages 16-21, to attend interactive teaching workshops twice a month, from 6 – 8:00 pm.   The range of life topics are budgeting and money management to apartment living, employment, and health and nutrition.
